Toronto drivers faced significant delays Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash near the Gardiner Expressway.

Police said the collision occurred around 8:40 a.m. in the area of Lower Jarvis Street and Lake Shore Boulevard East. Paramedics reported that about nine vehicles were involved, though no injuries were reported.

The crash led to several temporary closures, including the eastbound Gardiner ramp to Jarvis, the left westbound lane on Lake Shore at Jarvis, and the right southbound lane on Jarvis at Lake Shore. All affected lanes have since reopened.

The cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
