Firefighters in Toronto have put out a blaze that broke out on the second floor of a building near Christie Pits.
Emergency crews were called to 838 Bloor St. around 11:40 a.m. Thursday, where they encountered smoke and flames on the second level. The fire was quickly brought under control.
Officials say the building was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Toronto police later advised that Bloor Street West has been closed between Ossington Avenue and Crawford Street as a result of the incident.
