Two adults were hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision involving a dump truck in Brampton Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. at Steeles Avenue West and Windmill Boulevard, involving a sedan and a dump truck. Peel paramedics confirmed both adults were taken to hospital.

Police say the dump truck initially left the scene but its driver was later located. Authorities do not currently classify it as a failure-to-remain, though the matter is part of the ongoing investigation.

Westbound Steeles Avenue remains closed between Tait Boulevard and McLaughlin Road, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
