Four pedestrians were injured after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Gerrard Street East and Church Street in Toronto on Thursday evening. Police say the incident occurred around 5:38 p.m.
The driver stayed at the scene, and it is not yet known whether any charges will be laid. One pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the other three suffered minor injuries.
Road closures remain in place in the surrounding area as police investigate.
