Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a transport truck believed to have left the scene of a collision on Highway 11 in Cochrane on Sunday evening.
Police say the crash occurred between 7 and 7:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 11, east of Red Pine Road North. When officers arrived, one of the vehicles involved was no longer at the scene.
Minor injuries were reported. Investigators believe the vehicle that fled was a transport truck, last seen heading east on Highway 11 near Lookout Road.
Police are asking the truck driver, anyone who was travelling in the vehicle, or witnesses to the crash — including those with dashcam footage from the area at the time — to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
