A fast response by the London Fire Department helped prevent major damage after a van caught fire in a residential driveway on Monday.
Emergency crews were called just after noon to a vehicle fire on Kingsbridge Street in the city’s southeast. Fire officials said equipment inside the van ignited, causing the vehicle to become fully involved before flames spread to the attached garage.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, limiting damage to the garage and stopping it from spreading into the rest of the home. No injuries were reported.
