An 83-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Sauble Beach that also left four others injured. Grey Bruce OPP say emergency crews were called to Sauble Falls Parkway near Sixth Street North shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday.
The man was taken to hospital, where he later died. Another passenger suffered critical injuries and was transported by ORNGE air ambulance to a trauma centre, while three others were treated at local hospitals for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Sauble Falls Parkway was closed for several hours between Sixth Street North and Sauble Falls Road as police investigated, reopening around 2 a.m. The investigation is continuing.
