All eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at Ritson Road in Oshawa were shut down Saturday evening following a multi-vehicle collision.
Police say the crash was reported shortly after 7 p.m. and involved a transport truck, a pickup truck, and a sedan. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
Traffic is being diverted through Simcoe Street as crews work at the scene. Police say the closure is expected to remain in place for several hours.
