A man and a woman were hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Scarborough Wednesday morning. Police responded to the collision at Warden and Bertrand avenues shortly after 11:20 a.m. Both pedestrians sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.
The vehicle involved, a white Mercedes van, remained at the scene, and the driver did not leave. Police advised motorists to expect road closures and traffic delays in the area as the investigation continues.
