Toronto police report that a man was hit by a vehicle in North York late Thursday evening.
The collision occurred around 9:35 p.m. near the intersection of Lawrence Avenue West and Brookview Drive. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to hospital with critical injuries that may be life-threatening.
The driver involved stayed at the scene, and authorities have not yet announced whether charges will be laid.
