A pedestrian is in hospital with critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in North York on Saturday evening.
According to Toronto Police Service, officers were called at 8:13 p.m. to the area of Yonge Street and Wedgewood Drive, just south of Steeles Avenue, for reports of a collision.
Police say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene.
Investigators have not yet released details about what led to the crash.
