Toronto police are investigating after a York Region Transit (YRT) bus struck a pedestrian and a hydro pole at the Finch GO Bus Terminal on Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. near Yonge and Finch streets. Paramedics transported two people to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while five others were treated on site for minor injuries.

YRT reported that the 304 Express bus collided with a Hydro One pole at the terminal. There were 13 passengers on board at the time, and none were injured. Bus staff were assessed at the scene and cleared, though the driver was taken to hospital for observation.

The crash caused minor disruptions to YRT services and temporarily affected Metrolinx GO bus operations, with customers redirected to the York Mills terminal. Service at Finch has since resumed, although some arrival platforms may be adjusted.
