A late-night collision in Guelph has resulted in a charge against a transit driver after a crash involving a GO bus.
According to Guelph Police Service, the incident occurred shortly before 11:20 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Woodlawn Road West and the Hanlon Expressway. The bus struck a Honda SUV before veering off the roadway and coming to rest in a ditch.
One passenger in the SUV sustained minor injuries, while no injuries were reported among those on board the bus.
Police have charged the bus driver with careless driving.
