A section of Highway 11 in Orillia was temporarily closed in both directions early Thursday after a tractor-trailer jackknifed.
The Ontario Provincial Police reported that southbound lanes were blocked at Old Barrie Road East, while northbound traffic was stopped at Memorial Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Drivers in the area were advised to find alternate routes as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway. By 1:39 a.m., OPP noted that one lane in each direction between Old Barrie Road East and Memorial Avenue had reopened.
The cause of the jackknife remains under investigation.
