A 24-year-old man was hospitalized following a hit-and-run collision in Waterloo early Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service were called around 3:30 a.m. to the area of Bennington Gate and Columbia Street West, near Fischer-Hallman Road North, after reports that a pedestrian had been struck.
Police say the man was hit by a dark-coloured SUV, which then fled the scene. He was transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
