Ontario Provincial Police are searching for the driver of a van following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 417 in Ottawa Saturday afternoon.
Police say the collision occurred around 12:19 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Bronson Avenue.
Investigators are trying to identify the driver of a silver Honda Odyssey that they believe triggered the crash. Dashcam footage released by police appears to show the van attempting to move into a lane already occupied by a black sedan. The sedan then swerves, collides with a pickup truck, and is struck by the vehicle recording the footage.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the OPP and reference case number E260339611.
