Ontario Provincial police reported two separate crashes in the Kawartha Lakes area Sunday afternoon.
The first occurred around 1 p.m. in Janetville on Highway 35 near Fleetwood and Golf Course roads, involving two cars. One person was airlifted to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The second crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Glenarm Road between Fenel and Hartley roads in Woodville, involving four vehicles. Two people were hospitalized for assessment.
Police have not confirmed if road conditions played a role. Both investigations are ongoing, and the roads have since reopened.
