A fatal house fire in Niagara Falls on Wednesday evening is under investigation.
Emergency crews responded around 6 p.m. to a burning home on Elm Street, where firefighters later extinguished the blaze. Inside, a man was found dead. Police say he was the only person in the residence at the time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with both the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and Niagara Regional Police’s criminal investigations unit involved.
