A man died following a head-on collision in East Garafraxa early Thursday morning.
The crash, involving two vehicles, occurred shortly after 5 a.m. on the border of East Garafraxa and Caledon. The male driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
The road remains closed between Shaws Creek Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard as the Ontario Provincial Police, with support from the Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) team, continue their investigation.
Authorities are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact OPP.
