Two Toronto police officers were hospitalized with minor injuries following a single-vehicle crash in North York while attempting to arrest a suspect.
The incident occurred Thursday night near Finch Avenue West and Sentinel Road. Police say officers were trying to stop a suspect when the individual exited a vehicle and fled on foot.
Officers were able to catch the suspect, but a collision occurred during the pursuit.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested and faces multiple charges, including fleeing from police, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property over $5,000, using forged documents, and attempting to obstruct justice.
