A woman in her 20s was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Scarborough late Sunday morning.
Toronto police responded to the scene near Morningside Avenue and Coronation Drive at about 11 a.m., where they found the injured pedestrian. She was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene, and police advised motorists to expect delays in the area as the investigation continues.
