A driver from Guelph is facing multiple charges after a two-vehicle crash on the Hanlon Parkway Sunday evening.
Wellington OPP say the collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Hanlon Parkway and College Avenue West. No injuries were reported.
Police allege the 29-year-old driver was impaired and have laid several charges, including impaired operation with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, impaired driving involving alcohol and drugs, careless driving, having open alcohol in the vehicle, and failing to update an address.
An image released by officers shows several alcoholic beverage cans displayed on the vehicle’s roof. The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
