A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Thursday evening in Simcoe.
Police say the incident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Colborne Street North. The road has been shut down between Young Street and Robinson Street as investigators examine the scene.
The driver remained at the location following the collision.
Authorities are asking anyone with information or possible surveillance footage from nearby businesses to come forward.
