A driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries after crashing into a gas station in Barrhaven on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called around 8:42 a.m. after an SUV struck the Petro-Canada location at Fallowfield Road and Woodroffe Avenue. Paramedics treated the male driver at the scene before transporting him to hospital.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
Ottawa Fire Services also dispatched a structural collapse team to assess and secure the building following the impact.
