A 30-year-old driver from Cambridge is facing multiple charges following a collision involving an SUV and a transport truck in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Wellington Road 124 and Wellington Road 32 at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Despite significant front-end damage to the SUV and deployed airbags, no injuries were reported.
The roadway was temporarily closed as officers conducted their investigation.
Police charged the SUV driver with careless driving, two counts of driving under suspension, operating a vehicle without a valid licence, and failing to wear a seatbelt.
