Two drivers emerged unscathed from a serious crash on Highway 403 Sunday morning, when a transport truck crossed the median and collided with an SUV.
The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. when the westbound truck veered into the eastbound lanes, striking the SUV. Despite the severity of the crash, both drivers walked away without injury.
The eastbound lanes of Highway 403, between Highway 53 and Middle Townline Road, are expected to be closed for eight to 10 hours for investigation and to remove the fully loaded truck. Officers advised motorists to follow detours and expect delays as the investigation continues.
