Two women were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Hunt Club Road Monday evening. Emergency crews were called to the 1400 block of Hunt Club Road, between Albion Road and Bank Street, around 7:27 p.m.
Firefighters found one vehicle struck on the side, trapping a woman inside. Using specialized tools, crews freed her in under 15 minutes. Ottawa Paramedic Service dispatched multiple units to the scene, and both women were treated and transported to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. They remain in stable condition.
The Ottawa Police Service confirmed no arrests or charges have been made. Westbound Hunt Club Road was temporarily closed due to the crash but has since reopened.
