A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Pickering Tuesday night.
Durham Regional Police say the incident happened at Kingston Road and Walnut Lane, where an individual was hit by a vehicle. The victim was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The driver remained at the scene following the incident. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
