A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 11 has resulted in charges against a British Columbia man.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the incident in Otto Township around 3:35 a.m. on April 3, where they found the truck in a ditch. Neither the driver nor the passenger was injured.
During the investigation, officers determined the driver’s licence had been suspended in Ontario. The 28-year-old from Abbotsford, B.C., has been charged with driving under suspension.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Kirkland Lake on June 9.
