A Sudbury man is facing an impaired driving charge after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 17 in West Nipissing last week.
Ontario Provincial Police say the incident occurred around 10 p.m. on April 3, when a vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported.
Officers arrested the 26-year-old driver at the scene and took him to a local detachment for further testing.
He has been charged with impaired operation and received an immediate 90-day licence suspension. His vehicle was also impounded for seven days.
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear in court in North Bay on May 7.
