A pedestrian was killed Thursday night after being struck by a motorcycle in Kawartha Lakes.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on North Mountain Road in Bexley Township at about 8:27 p.m. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours between Doyle Road and County Road 41 while investigators and collision reconstruction officers examined the area and collected evidence.
Authorities have not determined the cause of the crash and are continuing to investigate. Police are asking any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or video footage to come forward.
