A vehicle crashed into a storefront in Barrie on Monday morning, leading to a police response and concerns about the building’s structural safety.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at a La Vie en Rose store on Mapleview Drive West, where a black Volkswagen reversed over a curb and smashed through the front window.
The driver, a woman, was not injured, and no other injuries were reported. However, officials say the building sustained structural damage and must be inspected before it can be considered safe.
