A 58-year-old man from Kitchener has been charged following a serious crash in Fergus that sent four people to hospital.
The collision happened Monday afternoon on Highway 6 between Side Roads 18 and 19, where Wellington County OPP say one vehicle tried to overtake another before losing control and ending up in a ditch.
Emergency crews transported four people to hospital. One person sustained significant but non-life-threatening injuries, while two others had minor injuries and a fourth was treated for less serious harm.
Police have charged the driver with two counts of careless driving causing bodily harm.
