A cement truck crash in Whitby prompted a partial highway closure Wednesday evening.
According to the OPP Highway Safety Division, the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on the northbound side of Highway 412 near Taunton Road. Investigators say the truck suffered a front tire blowout, causing it to lose control, cross the median, and roll into the southbound lanes.
Minor injuries have been reported.
One right lane remains closed as crews work to clear the scene, with cleanup expected to continue for several hours.
