A driver has been arrested after a crash involving a hydro pole in Etobicoke that disrupted traffic in the area.
Toronto police say the incident happened around 7:15 p.m. at The Westway and Hartsdale Drive, near Islington Avenue. A vehicle collided with a hydro pole, knocking it down into the intersection and causing traffic lights to stop working.
Officers took the driver into custody on suspicion of impaired driving.
The Westway has been closed between Islington Avenue and Epping Street while crews manage the scene.
