A person has died after being struck by a GO train near Guelph Central Station on Tuesday afternoon, shortly after 3:00 p.m.
Guelph police confirmed the individual died from their injuries. Officers, along with Metrolinx special constables, remained at the scene into the late afternoon, with the train stopped just west of the platform and the area secured.
