Ontario Provincial Police temporarily shut down all westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Courtice Road in Oshawa following a three-vehicle collision that caused a diesel spill.
The crash occurred near Harmony Road around 9:10 a.m. and involved a commercial truck that leaked fuel across the roadway. One driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Crews closed the highway to contain and clean up the spill, with traffic resuming shortly before 2 p.m.
