A fire in Kitchener caused significant damage but no injuries Friday afternoon.
Fire crews responded around 1 p.m. to Stirling Avenue South near Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute. Investigators believe the blaze began when an electronic device was left charging on a mattress.
Officials say the incident is not considered suspicious. Damage is estimated at about $100,000, including water impact to two units below.
