A fatal crash in Scarborough on Friday evening has left a 42-year-old man dead, according to Toronto police.
Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to the area of Goldhawk Trail and Hutchcroft Avenue, near Brimley Road and McNicoll Avenue. Police say the driver of a 2011 Honda was traveling east on Goldhawk Trail near Bridport Crescent when the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree.
He was transported to hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
