A man in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Scarborough Friday evening.
Toronto police say the incident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Goldhawk Trail and Hutchcroft Avenue when the driver lost control and struck a tree.
He was initially taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead.
Police have not yet determined what led to the crash.
