Two Peel Regional Police cruisers collided in Mississauga Saturday afternoon while responding to an active weapons call.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. near Dundas Street West and Mavis Road. Police say the vehicles were en route to a report involving a man armed with a knife when the collision happened. One of the cruisers also had minor contact with a civilian vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
Officers later located the suspect involved in the weapons call and took the individual into custody.
