A vehicle crashed into a home on Pillette Road in Windsor early Sunday morning, but no serious injuries were reported.

Police say the incident happened shortly after 5 a.m. when residents at a house near the corner of Pillette Road and South National Street were startled by a loud noise. Investigators determined the driver lost control and struck the residence.

The driver suffered only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. While no criminal charges were filed, police issued a careless driving charge under the Highway Traffic Act. The extent of the property damage has yet to be assessed.
