A 65-year-old woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of CF Shops at Don Mills on Tuesday morning.
Toronto Police Service said officers were called to the shopping centre near Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East at approximately 10:40 a.m. following reports that a pedestrian had been struck.
Investigators allege a 45-year-old woman driving south through the parking lot turned right onto Pabst Lane and struck the pedestrian, who was crossing southbound in a marked crossover area.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toronto police traffic services officers are continuing to investigate the incident. The driver remained at the scene, and no charges have been announced.
Investigators are also asking anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage from the area to come forward.
