Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal crash in Mississippi Mills that left a 27-year-old man dead Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to a collision on Bayview Lodge Road at approximately 9:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle that had crashed.
According to preliminary findings, the vehicle struck a tree before catching fire prior to the arrival of emergency crews.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
