A multi-vehicle collision involving a Barrie police cruiser occurred on Bayfield Street near Livingstone Street while police officers were responding to a call.
Police said the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. and resulted in minor injuries to a woman, who was taken to hospital for treatment. One officer was also injured, although medical care was not required.
Both vehicles involved sustained significant front-end damage. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
