A pilot escaped with minor injuries after a private aircraft crashed near Smiths Falls on Sunday night.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers were called to the scene just before 9 p.m. following reports of a plane crash north of the Smiths Falls-Montague Airport.
Police confirmed the pilot was the sole occupant of the aircraft and was treated for minor injuries following the incident.
