An e-bike rider has died following a collision involving a car in London’s east end last week, according to local police.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Brydges Street and Egerton Street around 3 p.m. Friday after reports of a crash. The cyclist was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.
Police confirmed the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the collision.
The case has since been handed over to the London Police Service Road Safety Section for further investigation.
Investigators are urging anyone who was in the area between 2:45 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. on May 15, including those with dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage, to contact police.
