A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke early Thursday morning.
Toronto police and emergency crews were called to the area of Dundas Street West and Kipling Avenue shortly before 3:30 a.m. following reports of a collision in a parking lot west of Kipling.
Officers say a man believed to be in his late 40s was hit by a vehicle inside the lot and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by paramedics.
Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene after the incident. The circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been released as the investigation continues.
