A 28-year-old Windsor motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a crash on Highway 401 in LaSalle Thursday evening, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Emergency crews responded to the scene near Todd Lane around 8 p.m. after a motorcycle struck a highway barrier.
The collision forced the closure of the eastbound lanes for approximately three hours while police investigated and cleared the area.
OPP have not yet determined what caused the crash and have not said whether any charges could be laid. The investigation remains ongoing by Essex County OPP.
