An 18-year-old cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision involving an SUV on Sunday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 89, west of Mount Forest. The cyclist was taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to a trauma centre for further treatment.
The SUV driver was also transported to hospital as a precaution.
Police closed Highway 89 for several hours between Wellington Road 6 and O’Dwyers Road while investigators examined the scene.
