A 27-year-old man from Sudbury is facing multiple charges after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 17 early Friday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to the collision in Greater Sudbury around 1:30 a.m. on May 23. No injuries were reported.

Police allege the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested before being taken to an OPP detachment for additional testing.

Following the investigation, the driver was charged with impaired driving, refusing to comply with a demand and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

The accused also received a 90-day licence suspension, while the vehicle involved was impounded for seven days.

He has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 24.
